Pop round to
Chelsea Market to grab something to eat
Sunday 30th July
9am – Breakfast at
Sarahbeth's (40 Central Park South)
Then, head downtown to explore
Wall Street and the
9/11 Memorial
From 1pm:
The One World Observatory - the tallest building in the United States,
the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere,
and the seventh-tallest in the world!
6:15pm –
Circle Line cruise to the Statue of Liberty
Followed by dessert and a bit of singing in
Ellen’s Stardust Diner
Monday 31st July
Breakfast, then on to
Grand Central Station to explore
Followed by some
shopping (or running!)
Followed by a walk in
Central Park
Then off for afternoon tea at
The Plaza at 3pm
Grab the subway from Columbus Circle down to 14th St & 8th Av to find the start of the
High Line, then walk up to
Hudson Yards
Head over to
The Edge to see the views at sunset
Dinner at
Cantina Rooftop (8pm)
Tuesday 1st August
Off to the seaside - head down to
Coney Island for a walk along the boardwalk and Corn Dogs
Back into the city for some more
shopping (or running!)
Take me out to the ball game
New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays At 7:05pm
Wednesday 2nd August
A short walk over to
Little Island before leaving for JFK around 1pm
Fly on VS004 at 18:00 to Heathrow, landing at 06:20 on Thursday
